These are provided by the doctors and practice nurses. As mentioned above all the doctors provide full contraceptive advice, are actively involved in child development, and undertake all their antenatal and postnatal care. All the doctors also carry out minor surgical procedures and along with the nurses, offer detailed health promotion advice on a wide variety of topics.

The practice employs four nurses who, alongside their role in the clinics as mentioned above, also provide a wide variety of services including general advice on health, immunisations including tetanus, polio, childhood vaccinations etc., blood tests, blood pressure checks, dressings, ear syringing, cervical smears and advice on breast self -awareness.

Staff attached to our practice includes two Health Visitors who run our Child Development Clinics and who are responsible mainly for the care of young children and the elderly. We also have District Nurses who provide nursing care to people in their home and a team of Community Midwives who provide full antenatal, intra partum and postnatal care, and carry out clinics at both surgeries.

Lynne Healey is our Carer Support Worker, she is here to provide advice and support to carers registered at the practice. She can be contacted through the practice. For more information for carers please click on the link -Torbay Care Trust for Carers
